Since my childhood, I used to discover these little, rounded fragments scattered along the seashore, often assuming they were fish bones.

However, to my surprise, they turned out to be "nurdles," more poetically referred to as "mermaids' tears."

These tiny plastic pellets serve as a crucial raw material in the plastic industry, acting as the foundation for various plastic products, ranging from disposable water bottles to television sets.

Unfortunately, due to mishandling during transportation or processing, many of these nurdles end up in the ocean, where they accumulate toxins on their surfaces and are ingested by marine wildlife.

This experience made me want to create somehting to raise awareness about the environmental consequences of plastic pollution and the urgent need for responsible management of plastic waste to protect our oceans and marine life.
